Great alternative. It so happens that mostly guys really don't like this counseling thing. Now, it gives me idea on that issue. I'll tell you, my husband really hates counseling and that he told me counselors usually freaking out for their clients to say whatever they need to say. He never told me issue regarding this counseling thing, and now, thanks for this post, it enlightens me.

I am looking for a 3rd party to mediate an ongoing argument I am having with my long term boyfriend. We have reached an impasse in this current argument. I normally would concede for the sake of peace. However, in the past when I have done this, he will become more angry and resentful and holds a grudge for whatever I apologize about. He will then resort to bringing it up in future arguments to use against me. Therefore, I feel we need someone to intervene. He has agreed to listen to whatever the feedback is. Fortunately, our argument is 100% on text messages, so I can copy and paste the entire saga for someone else to give their opinion about. Would someone be willing to give us an opinion about this tonight?
